On call to action day I learned that helping the community through a learning experience not only benefits the people you're teaching but it also helped me out on what I wanted to do with my future. It helped me get a better since if I wanted to actually be a teacher or not. At the end of the day I realized I did want to become a teacher because it will give me the option to help kids out and give them a better understanding of who they want to be when they grow up and to see every child's different personality. I noticed that every child has a different way of viewing education some don't take it that serious and some love to explore with their own minds taking risks some are scared to take. This community service opportunity gave me the chance to give the Ravens wood School district a role model these fifth graders can look up to when they grow up. They had a better sense of what they're life will be life in less than ten years which is something I never really got to see as a fifth grader. Community service is  something a lot of people take for granted because we never realize how much good it can do us personally. To me it helped me realize that children really do need a role model to help them shape their personalities.
