Social Justice Speaker

On November 17, Rose Jacob- Gibson came to talk to us about how much she has contributed to our community as a whole. Her way of expressing her leadership skills relate to Hallmark #2 which is "We value the dignity and sacredness of each person." This relates to her because she believed that the women in the county jail deserved more than what they were given. They deserved to be treated like individuals who made a mistake and need help getting back on their feet when they leave jail. For this reason Rose Jacob-Gibson made job programs and even did a re model for the women to feel better. I personally felt aspired by her because she always found a way to be better and she worked her way up.
